Senior Programmer-Analyst
Position - Services Leader

Zycom directly employees approximately thirty-five full time IT professionals and has another forty plus IT consultants working in our virtual team. Our business focus is two fold, SMB 20-200 user base with our Managed Services approach “myIT” and Mid to Enterprise space with our traditional enterprise sales approach.

POSITION SUMMARY
Are you a dynamic and motivated IT Consultant with a proven track record of exceeding business goals in the fast paced area of IT infrastructure and outsourcing. Are you motivated to learn new technologies, work on a wide variety of IT projects and deliver services across a wide range of customer environments.
As a proven Consultant, you will leverage you're skills to develop services within existing accounts or assisting in winning net-new clients accounts and ensure on-going customer satisfaction through excellent service and follow-up. You will participate in the development of sales strategies and annual business plans, and assist with the preparation of RFIs and RFQs and work collaboratively with your inside sales, sales, consulting support group, manufacturer reps, subcontracting networks and senior management team.
In this challenging role, your responsibility may include but not limited to the assistance of driving services revenues and profitable GP growth by identifying, quantifying and closing client opportunities within designated accounts or territories.
Project Management within an IT environment including the development and delivery of complex projects in partnership with senior management and sales executives

Providing support to both external and internal clients

Design and implementation of backup procedures, system policies and user management

Manage and support the voice/telecom WAN and VPN requirements of the company

Developing our “Managed Services” delivery model for SMB clients

Assisting in shaping our services organization and aligning goals and responsibilities Designing, Assessing or Implementing unique technology solutions in the area of datacenter virtualization-consolidation, print management, Desktop TCO, IT outsourcing, Storage Area Networks, Network infrastructure or Telephony and communications.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years successful strategic consulting experience and a strong understanding of IT and networked solutions. Strong technical and business experience related to IT infrastructure is essential.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Qualified candidates will be MCSE with a University Computer Science or equivalent diploma/certificate.

Minimum 10 years of proven IT experience in a progressively complex IT environments and a record of working knowledge with enterprise IT solutions such as SAN's, core switches, Blades, etc.

Continuous learning is required, to maintain ability to assist customers with buying decisions service and upgrades. Please indicate any technical IT certifications related to hardware, software, services or strategic courses.

Manufacturer certifications such as HP, Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, Nortel, VMware, Equallogics, DELL, Nortel, VOIP, ITUL are heavily considered.

A proven ability to multitask and exceed business objectives.

Proven consultative solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement. Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment “A can do Attitude”, leadership and result oriented!
