Senior IT Account Manager Zycom directly employees approximately thirty-five full time IT professionals and has another forty plus IT consultants working in our virtual team. Our business focus is two fold, SMB 20-200 user base with our Managed Services approach "myIT" and Mid to Enterprise space with our traditional enterprise sales approach. Zycom currently has over 400 clients ranging in all vertical market such as Finance, Municipal, Education, Manufacturing, Distribution, High-Tech, Federal, Health Care, SMB of all types. Zycom is celebrating our tenth year in business and currently has offices in Montreal, Ottawa, Brockville, Belleville, Kingston, Toronto and Guelph.
POSITION SUMMARY As a proven Sales Professional you will leverage you're skills to develop opportunities within existing accounts or in the development of net-new clients accounts and ensure on-going customer satisfaction through excellent service and follow-up. You will participate in the development of sales strategies and annual business plans, and assist with the preparation of RFIs and RFQs and work collaboratively with your inside sales, sales, consulting support group, manufacturer reps, subcontracting networking and upper management team. In this challenging role, your responsibility may include but not limited to the assistance of driving product, services or solution revenues and will be measured on generating Gross Profit growth by identifying, quantifying and closing client opportunities within designated accounts or target territories or cities. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years successful strategic selling experience and a strong understanding of IT and networked solutions. Major account experience is a must, along with a rolodex of "C" level contacts. Strong technical and business experience related to IT infrastructure is essential. The compensation package includes a base salary, an excellent incentive program and full benefits.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Proven IT experience selling into progressively complex IT environments and a record of working knowledge with enterprise IT solutions such as SAN's, core switches, Blades, etc. Continuous learning is required, to maintain ability to assist customers with buying decisions service and upgrades. Please indicate any Sales or technical IT certifications related to hardware, software, services or strategic courses. Manufacturer expertise such as HP, Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, Nortel, VMware, Equallogics, DELL, Nortel, VOIP, ITUL are heavily considered. Proven track record as a top performer and is motivate to exceed annual business goals and be part of a winning team. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent time management skills, ability to cope with change and to work in a fast-paced environment, good judgment and problem-solving ability to work independently and as a team to get results. A proven ability to multitask, work long hours and exceed business objectives. You are proven negotiator with the ability to drive results and multitask. Proven consultative solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement. Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment Additionally an excellent database of existing clients with proven relationships that can be leveraged would be an asset.
