The individual selected to join the dynamic Zycom senior account team will be able to seamlessly and comprehensively manage their specific territory or vertical market, thanks to their exceptional dedication to serving the needs of existing customers, coupled with a relentless drive to add to the client base. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an impressive breadth and depth of knowledge of the Greater Toronto Area business environment, and will have cultivated an extensive cadre of contacts, leads and prospects throughout the relevant sectors. Greater penetration and an expanding profile within the GTA is the overarching mandate of this position.
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess superior direct sales and marketing skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management skills, have a ‘customer first’ approach to their job, and a demonstrated facility to work independently, but also as part of a broader team with common goals. Candidates must be high achievers, keen learners, committed to excellence, be goal-oriented and prove they can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Good humour, patience and an open mind are also essential.
The successful candidate will essentially work from home, spending much of their work day visiting new and existing clients or in sales meetings back at the home office. The work plan, sales targets and overall business development plan will be developed in conjunction with the General Manager or President, who will also be to whom the senior account executive will report.
